Phoenix Coyotes
The National Hockey League Phoenix Coyotes have played hockey in the desert since moving from Winnipeg for the 1996-97 season. The team now calls Jobing.com Arena in Glendale its home.
The Coyotes continue to work for a “Whiteout” – a popular tradition that started in Winnipeg but quickly carried over to Phoenix hockey fans – that involves all fans dressing in white during home postseason games.
