Glendale Visitor Center

Boasting a countless collection of free local, regional and statewide maps, brochures and travel information, the Glendale Visitor Center is the first place to start your Glendale journey. Our helpful travel counselors can assist with accommodations and directions. The Glendale Visitor Center is an official State of Arizona Local Visitor Information Center. More than 500 brochures are on display covering the state's attractions. Internet access is also available for visitors to “stay connected.”

Visitor Center Staff Kicks Up Heels In 10-Year Celebration Of Serving Travelers From All Walks

In the 10 years since the Glendale Visitor Center first put out its welcome mat, people have crossed the center’s threshold in everything from Air Jordans to Spanish espadrilles, Dutch clogs and Japanese zori’s.  Whether in traditional garb or trying out cowboy boots while on holiday, visitors from more than 46 countries have marched into the Glendale Visitor Center to discover all this Arizona city has to offer a world traveler.

Locally and nationally, Glendale welcomes millions of tourists a year and the Visitor Center is the first place many people start their journey to find out the great places to discover in Glendale and Arizona.          

In fact, in its 10 years, the center has helped 121,000 walk-ins, mailed 78,235 information packets, fielded 68,106 phone calls and reached more than 1.5 million people with its website, www.visitglendale.com.

Recognized as a designated local visitor information center by the state of Arizona, the Glendale Visitor Center plays an important role in the newly created Glendale Convention & Visitors Bureau. Travel counselors have provided a countless supply of maps, destination guides and travel brochures to visitors from each state in the United States as well as around the world.

The Glendale Visitor Center is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Glendale, one block north of Glendale Avenue in the Bank of America Building, ground floor. Free covered parking is available at our Palmaire Parking Structure located at 5835 W. Palmaire Ave which is just north of the Glendale Visitor Center in the Bank of America Building at 58th Avenue and Glenn Drive. The parking structure features 600 spaces.
