Welcome to Glendale, Arizona - home of Super Bowl 2015

Glendale, Arizona is proud to have hosted the 2015 Super Bowl, an economic engine that benefits our entire state. It certainly was an exciting Super Bowl XLIX. Nearly 70,000 fans inside the University of Phoenix Stadium and millions around the world watched the New England Patriots defeat the Seattle Seahawks in one of the most exciting down-to-the-wire finishes in Super Bowl history.

This decision to host the game was a positive reinforcement on the entire region, highlighting our ability to put Arizona on a stage for the world to see. Glendale’s opportunity to host a Super Bowl honors the continued commitment to Arizona voters to use the state-of-the-art University of Phoenix stadium and the amenities and infrastructure that were built around the stadium in Glendale to attract hundreds of thousands of people while also pumping money into the local economy. Just like in 2008, Glendale intends to once again make it one of the best bowl experiences for fans and for the entire region and looks forward to working with the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee to make the biggest game in the world the biggest success.

Congratulations Seahawks and Patriots
