Donate a New Teddy Bear or Toy!
Another important part of the event is the Teddy Bear and Toy Drive to benefit the Glendale Fire Department, the Glendale Crisis Response Team and the West Valley Child Crisis Center. The Visitor Center will be accepting new teddy bears and toys. The bears and toys must be in original factory packaging. The teddy bears will be used for the Trauma Teddy program. The bears are given to young children who have been involved or witnessed a traumatic event to help comfort them as only a snuggly teddy bear can do. The new toys will be donated to the West Valley Child Crisis Center. The Center assists children in re-adjusting to temporary housing in a healthy and nurturing environment. The West Valley Crisis Center is also in need of new clothing for ages newborn to 12 years old and packages of diapers.

For more information, contact the Glendale Visitor Center at 623-930-4500. The Glendale Visitor Center is located at 5800 W. Glenn Drive, Suite 140.
