Dog Days of Summer - August 3, 2013 7-10 a.m. in Downtown Glendale

The Dog Days of Summer is the city’s annual canine celebration that will offer pet owners and their dogs a fun-filled morning for you and your best furry friend! New this year, a special recognition for public service dogs will occur to honor those groups who help many individuals for medical, companionship and emergency response.

The event will feature the following:

  1. Meet Topaz (crisis response dog) from the Glendale Fire Department
  2. FREE Frosty Paw Frozen Dog Treats
  3. Watering Stations & Cool Pool Stops
  4. Pet Massages, Pet Gifts & Accessories
  5. Raffles and Prizes
  6. Exhibits featuring local and national dog service organizations
  7. Mobile Vaccinations and microchips from Dr. Kit's Mobile Vet

The Glendale Visitor Center is collecting pet supplies to benefit the Sun Valley Animal Shelter.
