Friday Nite Lights is going to the dogs! Enjoy a fun filled night for you and your Best Furry Friend!  Start your evening at the Glendale Visitor Center to pick up a walking map and take a spin on the prize wheel. Activities include: Photo Stations, Frosty Paw Treats, Topaz from the Glendale Fire Department, Watering Stations, Story Hour, Pet Aura Photos, Fresh Baked Dog Treats, Pet Gifts & Accessories and a Pet Parade.

Bears & More-7146 N. 58th Drive:  Story hour featuring Hondo & Fabian (dog & cat story). 7:30-8 p.m. Story time   featuring Hondo & Fabian. Enjoy the charming story of Hondo the dog and Fabian the cat. These two pets live together comfortably and in their own ways they are much alike, despite the fact that one barks and the other meows!

The Open Door-5836 W. Palmaire Ave: Free 4 x 6 photograph of your dog with a donation to the Pet Food Drive for Sun Valley Animal Shelter. A photographer will also be taking professional photo packages at the shop.  Animal Communicator Readings by Harmony. Bring one or two clear, current pictures of your pet along with three questions and you will be amazed by Harmony's insight and revelations.  Special offer of $20 (Reg. $65) per session (10-15 minutes).   Enjoy a Complimentary Doggy Treat Gift or Kitty Treat Gift.

Papa Ed's Ice Cream-7146-B. N. 58th Ave:  $1 Frosty Paw special if you bring in a Back-to-School item.  Water stations in the garden.  Benefit Boutique for Sun Valley Animal Shelter - make a donation and select (1) item from clothes rack & table (merchandize valued at $8.99 - $32.99). Parade award ceremonies in the garden.

Pink House-7009 N. 58th Ave: Pet parade begins in park across from Pink House and goes to Papa Ed's Ice Cream garden.  Line-up at 6:15 p.m. and parade begins at 6:30 p.m.  All participants will receive a FREE Frosty Paw.  Competition for "Best of Dog Days of Summer" will be awarded a gift basket valued at $50 and a First Place Medallion from Peaces of Life.  Pink House will also have "Photo Station" in store.

Pet Parade: Strut your stuff!  Get out those shades, visors, bathing suits, cutesy pet outfits and parade with your best furry friend.
6:15 p.m. - Line-up at Murphy Park (south side) across the street from Pink House.
6:30 p.m. – Parade will begin.  Route will be North on 58th Ave. for (2) blocks to Papa Ed’s Ice Cream.
7 p.m. – Judging will take place in the garden area where pets can relax in the shade and enjoy outdoor watering stations.  Complimentary cold water for the “two legged” friends.

•  First place gift basket will be awarded to the “Best of Dog Days of Summer”. 
• All participants will receive a “Free” Frosty Paw.
