Coyotes Announce Schedule for "24 Hours of Hockey"

Hockey Weekend Across America Begins Tomorrow
  
The Phoenix Coyotes have announced the schedule for “24 Hours of Hockey,” a series of 16 consecutive hockey games at Jobing.com Arena, which begins Saturday, Jan. 30 and concludes the following day at 6 p.m.  The event was created by the Coyotes in an effort to support Hockey Weekend Across America (HWAA), a nationwide effort led by USA Hockey to celebrate the great game of hockey at all levels. HWAA also strives to share hockey with new audiences. 
  
The first game of “24 Hours of Hockey” will be the Coyotes versus New York Rangers game at 6 p.m.  That will be followed by 15 more games, with the first one beginning at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.  Those contests will include two adult league games, two high school games and 10 youth hockey games featuring teams of all age levels, from Mites (ages 5-8) to Midgets (ages 15-18).  The final game will feature a showdown between Coyotes and NHL alumni, including Greg Adams, Cale Hulse and Jocelyn Lemieux.      
  
 Admission to the entire event at Jobing.com Arena is free to the public.
