Glendale's Summer Band Concert Series Begins June 4
Glendale’s favorite summer tradition is back for its 49th season beginning June 4 in downtown Glendale. The eight-week concert series takes place each Thursday at 8 p.m., June 4 through July 23, in the Murphy Park Amphitheater, located at 59th Avenue and Glenn Drive. Music lovers of all ages will be entertained by this community band of approximately 100 musicians with its renditions of marches, polkas, movie medleys and other worldly tunes. Inaugural Glendale Summer Scavenger Stroll - Friday June 5
A brand new event to the downtown, join us for an evening of collecting clues for chances to win! Start at the Visitors Center to receive your map and event information, and leisurely stroll the downtown area for clues. The more clues you find, the more points you earn for chances to win! CONCACAF Gold Cup at University of Phoenix Stadium - July 12
University of Phoenix Stadium will host the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup soccer tournament (featuring the Mexican National team) in group play on July 12, 2015.

The Gold Cup returns to Phoenix/Glendale for the first time since 2009, when the University of Phoenix Stadium hosted a group round doubleheader. Taking place every two years, the Gold Cup is the official national team championship of the region, routinely drawing capacity crowds and millions of viewers across the region.
