Glendale's Summer Band Concert Series - Thursdays Through July 23
Glendale’s favorite summer tradition is back for its 49th season beginning June 4 in downtown Glendale. The eight-week concert series takes place each Thursday at 8 p.m., June 4 through July 23, in the Murphy Park Amphitheater, located at 59th Avenue and Glenn Drive. Music lovers of all ages will be entertained by this community band of approximately 100 musicians with its renditions of marches, polkas, movie medleys and other worldly tunes. Christmas in July - Saturday July 18, 10am-4pm
Santa is vacationing in Arizona this year, appearing in Historic Downtown Glendale on Saturday, July 18 from beginning at 10a.m., for the CVB's annual Christmas in July celebration. Visitors will enjoy a fun-filled day of holiday crafts, sweet treats and exclusive deals in Old Towne and Catlin Court, while having the opportunity to donate to a summer food drive. With only 158 days left to get all of your shopping for gifts and decorations complete, start early and avoid the rush! Christmas cheer begins at the Glendale Visitor Center, where you’ll pick up your holiday map, coupons and savings pack and take a spin on the prize wheel (for the first 150 visitors). CONCACAF Gold Cup at University of Phoenix Stadium - July 12
University of Phoenix Stadium will host the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup soccer tournament (featuring the Mexican National team) in group play on July 12, 2015.

The Gold Cup returns to Phoenix/Glendale for the first time since 2009, when the University of Phoenix Stadium hosted a group round doubleheader. Taking place every two years, the Gold Cup is the official national team championship of the region, routinely drawing capacity crowds and millions of viewers across the region.
